L1 Long Short Fund Limited, Corporate Advisor
L1 Capital engaged Seed Partnerships to act as corporate advisor for the IPO to the L1 Long Short Fund Limited (LSF) offer. LSF raised $1.33bn which is the largest LIC IPO to list on the ASX, and the largest IPO to list on the ASX this year. The substantial amount of funds raised has allowed L1 Capital to close its existing strategies to new investors, return sizeable funds to institutional investors and in doing so, potentially create a scarcity premium for the LSF share price. Seed Partnership engaged a hefty broking syndicate, organised a substantial roadshow (250 meetings) and helped facilitate a strong media presence. Seed Partnerships has been retained on an ongoing basis to provide corporate advisory, marketing, communications and shareholder engagement services.
L1 Capital is a global investment manager established in 2007 by Raphael Lamm and Mark Landau.
